Personally, I don’t like war shooters much. In my humble opinion, there are already too many war movies and games scattered around which have made this reoccurring theme too commercial and thus non-inspiring. But for Call of Duty, Modern Warfare 2 – which was waiting already a long time on my Steam wishlist – I’m not ashamed to draw the joker card. It’s just too good to ignore forever.
I’ve had great fun with CoD – MW2 and that’s not a coincidence. Every scene began so immersive that you really felt the urge to follow the orders to save the situation – and that is yes, by shooting like a madman.
Even though the game was made for multiplayer, the 5 hour-long single player campaign’s gameplay, video and audio quality were just top notch, and will for sure make me return one day.
