A very long time ago, namely in 2010, there was a man called Chris Roberts. He launched a Kickstarter campaign where he promised that he would make it possible for us to explore the universe and have dog fights with space ships, while having at the same time first person ground battles, all in the same PC game.
Now, 10 years later, we still have no completed Chris Roberts game, and no games for our PC achieving something similar without being boringly grindy (yes, I’m talking about you, Noman’s Sky). Or at least, until recently.
I never played the game as it was an Xbox-exclusive but luckily, at the end of 2019, Halo Reach was released as a part of the Master Chief Collection for PC players as well. As every Halo game I’ve completed before, again, this installment is impressively well made.
The story, tension, graphics, sound and gameplay are from a quality level I never expected to come with an umpteenth Halo.
You want to drive a tank, fly a space ship? Reach has it. Or just a helicopter? Check. Good old exciting FPS battles? Reached as well. What was the name of that old game again? Star Citizen, you said?
